Boat Tour in Cala Gonone

An hour’s drive from Villa Flamingo, a real highlight awaits visitors with a boat trip in the Gulf of Orosei, as it’s not for nothing that Sardinia is called the Caribbean of Europe.

In Cala Gonone we recommend renting a boat for a day at Lampu Noleggio Gommoni and exploring the Golfo di Orosei by yourself. By boat you can explore the Golfo di Orosei, making stops at Cala Goloritzè, Cala Mariolu and Cala Luna, among others. There you can observe the most interesting fish or swim to secluded beaches accessible only by boat.

Monte Longu

Climb the mountain directly behind Villa Flamingo. In a few minutes you will get a breathtaking 360 degree view up to Tavolara Island on the left and Capo Camino on the right.

Grab some appetizers to eat and a bottle of wine and enjoy a special kind of picnic. In midsummer, the cooler evening hours are especially suitable to enjoy the sunset at the same time.

Posada Beach

Located directly in the bay of Posada is the beach of the same name, Spiaggia di Posada, which stretches for kilometers and is bordered by the mouth of the Posada River.

It is a place for those who want to spend their vacations relaxing with their families, in fact it is well visited but not crowded in the high season and there is a beach bar. Its crystal clear waters is rewarded every year for the high naturalistic quality and clarity of the sea.

City of Posada

In Baronìa, an ancient village stands perched on a limestone cliff. Behind it are the ruins of a castle and at its feet the sea and a landscape that will remain impressed in your mind. The valley of the Posada River (to be ascended by kayak) is ideal for nature and archaeology lovers.

Posada, a village of three thousand inhabitants, is one of the most evocative places on the island for its history, culture and landscapes. The city is included in the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy being awarded with the Touring Club orange flag.

Capo Comino

Capo Comino is a place out of a picture book: a eucalyptus forest, a relatively large pine forest, a fringe of dunes in front of the wide beach – perfect for a bathing or beach vacation.

Behind the beach there is a large pond where herons and flamingos can be found.
